All Around Alberta

Six weeks ago, we kicked off our Free Alberta Strategy Town Hall tour of Alberta, and we wanted to give you an update on the events we've held in that time.

Hundreds of Albertans have attended these virtual events which we've held for ridings all across Alberta, including:

• Airdrie-Cochrane
• Airdrie-East
• Brooks-Medicine Hat
• Cardston-Siksika
• Central Peace-Notley
• Cypress-Medicine Hat
• Drumheller-Stettler
• Grande Prairie
• Grande Prairie-Wapiti
• Lacombe-Ponoka
• Livingstone-Macleod
• Peace River
• Red Deer North
• Red Deer South
• Taber-Warner

We also have a virtual town hall scheduled for Banff-Kananaskis, Chestermere-Strathmore, and Highwood happening tonight!

Our Executive Director, Rob Anderson, has co-hosted each event with one or more current and/or former MLA who have endorsed the Strategy.

So far, this has included current MLAs Angela Pitt (Airdrie-East), Jason Stephan (Red Deer South), Grant Hunter (Taber-Warner), Drew Barnes (Cypress-Medicine Hat), and Todd Loewen (Central Peace-Notley), along with former MLAs Danielle Smith, Bruce McAllister, Pat Stier and Gary Bikman.

At each event, Rob has introduced the Free Alberta Strategy to attendees, before hosting an extended Q&A session with his special guests to provide everyone participating with a real opportunity to discuss, debate, and find out more about the Strategy.

If you haven't had a chance to attend a town hall yet, don't worry, because we will be holding more meetings for more ridings in the new year, and we'll let you know when the details of the meeting in your area have been confirmed.

We're also looking forward to holding in-person meetings (remember those?) in the coming months - stay tuned for details!

We plan to keep the pressure on, and we need your help to do so.

Our goal is to host town halls in every constituency and speak with every MLA in all 87 constituencies by the summer of 2022.
