Alberta has long suffered from some political version of Stockholm Syndrome. It is time that we stand up for what’s right, not what’s right for Quebec, Ontario or any other part of the country, but us as western Canadians generally, and Albertans specifically. Rarely, if ever, does federal politics benefit us, and more often than not, it detracts.
